No. By default, we write your page text from your intake answers, and you approve it. If you'd rather write it yourself, or you already have text, tell us on the intake form and we'll shape it to fit the design.

Yes. We build you a new site, and your intake form tells us what to keep from the old one.

3 to 10 days, backed by our delivery guarantee: if we miss it, your site is free. The clock starts once your intake form is in and we have the information it asks for.

Then your site is free. If we haven't delivered your complete, working site on its private preview link within 240 hours (10 full days) of receiving your intake form and the information it asks for, we refund 100% of your package price, and we still finish your site and hand it over. The details are in our Terms of Service.

The moment your intake form is in and we have the information it asks for, like your logo, photos and answers. Revision rounds, domain access and launch day come after delivery, so they don't count. Tip: the fastest projects have everything ready on day one.

Flagship builds start before other builds waiting in our queue, so yours gets going sooner. Every package gets the same 3 to 10 day guarantee.

Yes. You get a private preview link, so you can look at your site on your phone and your computer before launch.

Every package includes revisions: 1 with Sailboat and Yacht Club, 3 with Flagship. Extra revisions are $50 each.

One revision is one round of changes: you send us one list, and we make the changes. A list can include redesigning parts of your site or adding new pages. Fixing our own mistakes never uses up a revision. A feature from a bigger package, like online booking on Sailboat, is an upgrade: you pay the difference in price.

Yes. Included revisions must be used within 30 days after launch. Extra revisions are paid before we start them.

You do! The site, the content and all the code are yours. If you ever want to move it, we hand everything over at no charge.

We host every site we build. Hosting is free for 30 days after launch; after that it's part of Maintenance ($99 a month), or we move your site to your own hosting for free. Yacht Club and Flagship include your first month of Maintenance. We remind you before day 30. If you haven't chosen by then, we email you your complete site files and keep your site live for 30 more days, so it never disappears without warning.

You can. You already own your site, and there's no handoff fee. We move it to your own hosting account or give you a complete copy of its files and code.

If you already have one, we connect it. If you don't, you register one in your own name with a domain registrar and pay them directly, and we connect it to your site. Either way, the domain is yours.

No. Connecting your website to your domain doesn't require changing your email setup, and we don't change it.

One flat price you see before you buy: Sailboat $250, Yacht Club $500 or Flagship $1,000. You pay once, up front, and that's it. Monthly plans are optional.

Through Stripe, a secure payment processor, when you check out. You pay the full package price up front. We never see your full card number.

Not at the moment. Packages are paid in full at checkout.

Before work starts you get a full refund. After design kickoff, 50%. After the first draft, 25%. Once your site launches, no refund. The Refund and Cancellation Policy has the details.

Our Terms of Service are the agreement. You accept them when you check out.

WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is the international standard for making websites usable by people with disabilities, for example people who use a screen reader or a keyboard instead of a mouse. AA is the level most organizations work toward. Every site we build, on every package, is built to it.

We build your site to the standard, but we can't tell you whether a particular law applies to your business, or promise that no one will ever complain. That's a question for your attorney. What we can say: WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard the U.S. Department of Justice chose in 2024 for state and local government websites, and your site will already be built to it.

A written accessibility statement for your site and an audit report showing how the site was checked.

It launches that way. New content added later, such as photos without descriptions, can introduce problems, and your owner's guide explains how to avoid that. With Maintenance, we check every month that your site still passes our accessibility checks.

SEO (search engine optimization) helps search engines like Google and Bing understand your site. GEO (generative engine optimization) does the same for AI answer tools, like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews. Every site we build ships the basics for both: clear page titles and descriptions, structured data that describes your business, and pages those tools can read.

Nobody can honestly promise that, and we won't. We build your site so search engines and AI tools can find and understand it. Where you rank also depends on your competition, your reviews and time.

On Flagship, we improve your Google Business Profile, the listing that shows your business on Google Maps and in local search, so it matches your new site. You keep ownership of the profile.

Hosting, security and software updates, uptime monitoring, a monthly check that your site still passes our accessibility and speed checks, up to 2 small edits a month (like swapping text or a photo), and replies within 2 business days. New pages and redesigns are quoted separately.

A plain-English report on how your website did last month: visitors, top pages, where visitors came from, how you showed up in Google and Bing search, and whether the goals you picked (calls, form sends, bookings or sales) happened, plus a short list of suggested website changes. It covers website analytics only, and it isn't business, marketing or ad advice.

The Monthly analytics report works for any website. Maintenance is for sites we built; if we didn't build yours, email us for a quote.

Any time, online or by email. There's no cancellation fee, and the plan stops at the end of the month you've already paid for.

Small businesses: local services, trades, shops, studios, practices and brands. We work remotely, so we don't need to be nearby.

We may decline any project, for example when the business or its content falls outside what we build. If we decline after you've paid, you get a full refund.

Yes. We use modern AI-assisted tools to design and build faster, which is part of how we keep prices flat. Every site is reviewed by our team before it goes live.

Not yet. Sailboat Sites is new, and we won't show made-up examples. Client sites will appear here once they launch and the clients agree.
